The importance of leadership begins with God's designed order. Before a man can lead anything, he is called to be connected — to God, and to the home entrusted to him. Connection is not a program; it is the fruit of a man taking his post: leading his wife with covenant love, leading his children as their first discipler, leading his home so that every member knows where they stand and that they belong.
A disconnected man cannot lead a connected home. So this is where leadership starts: a man under God's order, connecting his own house first — and from that order, reaching outward to other men, other homes, and the world.
